Platform rates

On the Platform plan you pay a €10 monthly base plus what you use at these rates per unit. We set up and manage the building blocks for you; they run in Amsterdam, the databases in Dublin.

How we measure

We measure containers per minute: allocated compute and memory while an instance runs (the idle rate only for a container you keep warm, while it runs at its minimum without requests; above that, and for a container that scales to zero, the active rate), requests and outbound traffic. Database servers and cache count per hour they exist; storage per GiB per day. Every day is a line in your portal; rounded up to whole cents per day and per meter.

What does this cost, roughly?

Three examples, worked out with the rates below. If a rate changes, this example changes with it. You pay for what you actually use; this is to give you a sense of it.

A small site

A site for a business or a project, with a contact form. Little traffic, and switched off between visits.

  • · around 1,000 visitors a month
  • · awake about fifteen minutes a day in total
  • · a quarter of a core and half a GB of memory
  • · 3 GB of outbound traffic, 1 GB of files

€11.20 per month

€10.00 base plus €1.20 usage

On the Website plan this is a fixed €10.00 per month.

An app with visitors

A web app with a database: logins, stored data, a few hundred visitors a day. Runs while there are visitors, and scales to zero at night.

  • · around 20,000 visitors a month
  • · on nine hours a day, scaling to zero the rest of the time
  • · half a core and 1 GB of memory
  • · the database on our shared server
  • · 25 GB of outbound traffic, 5 GB of files

€39.70 per month

€10.00 base plus €29.70 usage

On the App plan this is a fixed €15.00 per month.

A busy app

An app that runs day and night, with its own database server and a cache. There is no fixed plan for this; this is what the Platform plan is for.

  • · around 200,000 visitors a month, six million requests
  • · always on with a full core and 2 GB of memory
  • · four hours a day under real load
  • · a dedicated database server (2 cores, 4 GB) with 20 GB of storage
  • · a cache alongside it
  • · 200 GB of outbound traffic, 20 GB of files

€166.30 per month

€10.00 base plus €156.30 usage

The assumptions are listed so you can hold them against your own site. Your portal shows what you used each day.
