The sitemap on your own domain leaves out pages Google should not index

If your site has no sitemap.xml of its own, we make one for your domain. That sitemap now leaves out pages that ask Google not to index them (noindex) and pages that only send the visitor on to another address, such as the redirect pages Hugo, Astro and Jekyll write. Search Console then no longer warns about pages that were submitted but marked noindex. A sitemap of your own still comes first.
