An extra you switch off keeps running until the date you paid for

Switch off Always on, and it now keeps running until your next direct debit date, because your last debit already paid for that period. That debit no longer includes it. Did you switch it on after your last debit, then your next debit counts it once, and it goes off the day after. Your settings page shows the date, and one click keeps it on. An extra domain you remove leaves your site straight away; it only counts once more if no debit has included it yet. An extra that is free right now, like a new domain in its free months, costs nothing when it goes.
