Your site collects personal data as soon as it has a contact form: a name, an email address, a phone number, a message. Then your site needs a privacy statement, and it has to say who helps you process that data. That is us. Below is a paragraph you can copy into your own statement. It says what we do, not more.

> **Hosting and the contact form.** This website is hosted by Dorelli Cloud, which acts as our processor. When you send a message through the contact form, Dorelli Cloud forwards it to us by email and does not keep the content. To stop spam, it records only that a message was sent: which site, an encrypted form of your IP address and the time. It deletes that record after two days. Dorelli Cloud works with its own processors for this, such as Microsoft for hosting in the EU and Cloudflare for security and for sending the email.

Put a link to your statement next to the send button of your form. The Dutch data protection authority says a clear link there is enough.

A few things stay yours to write, because only you know them: who you are and how people reach you, what you do with the messages once they are in your mailbox, how long you keep them, and whether you use other services, such as an analytics tool or a booking system. We set no tracking cookies on your site; if you add a tool that does, your statement has to mention it.

This paragraph describes our part. The statement stays yours, and a lawyer who knows your business is the best check.

Wij zetten geen trackingcookies op je site; voeg je een tool toe die dat wel doet, dan hoort die in je verklaring.
